PGA of Canada Class “A” Head Coach – Sergej Dronov is the Head Teaching Professional at Pacific Golf Academy, where he leads with over 20 years of coaching experience. A member of the PGA of Canada since 2005 and Class “A” certified since 2015, Sergej brings a steady, student-centered approach to every lesson, helping young athletes grow both in skill and confidence.
Award-Winning Golf Coach – In 2024, Sergej was honoured with the PGA of BC Lower Mainland Coach of the Year award, a recognition of his long-standing dedication to junior golf development. Over the years, he has coached students to nearly 100 junior tournament victories, guiding many from their first lesson to the podium at events like CJGA, MJT, US Kids, FCG, and Grizzly Tour.
Junior Golf Development Specialist – Sergej’s passion lies in nurturing the potential of young golfers. He has helped hundreds of kids discover the game, many starting with no experience and eventually competing at regional and international levels. His focus on golf IQ, emotional control, and strong fundamentals has built a lasting foundation for long-term success.
Global Experience, Local Commitment – Sergej’s coaching journey has included time abroad in Shenzhen, China, where he worked with elite junior golfers and gained valuable perspective on golf cultures outside Canada. Today, he continues to dedicate himself fully to the Richmond golf community, ensuring every student at Pacific Golf Academy gets the guidance they need to grow—not just as golfers, but as people.

A Journey of Triumph: Pinnacle Moments: Andy's golfing journey is studded with remarkable achievements. A vital member of the Douglas Men's Golf team, he played a pivotal role in securing 3rd place in the province in 2019. In 2020, Andy shone as the top professional at the Playing Ability Test (PAT) hosted at Meadow Garden Golf Course, a testament to his skill and dedication.

Unconventional Path to Success: Cory Renfrew's stellar career, spanning the Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada, Web.com Tour, and PGA TOUR, reflects his resilience and determination. As a British Columbia native, Cory's journey took an unconventional turn when he chose the University of British Columbia over a U.S. scholarship. This decision, coupled with his remarkable skills, has paved the way for a flourishing professional career.
Amateur Marvel and Breakthrough Moments: Cory's amateur achievements are nothing short of extraordinary, boasting victories such as the BC Mid-Am and notable finishes in the Canadian Mid-Am and Canadian Amateur. In 2012, he earned his PGA Tour Canada card, experiencing a breakthrough year with a second-place finish at the Victoria Times Colonist Island Savings Open and a triumphant victory at the Syncrude Boreal Open, securing the third spot on the Order of Merit.
National Recognition: Cory Renfrew catapulted into the national spotlight in 2015 by qualifying for the PGA Tour's Frys.com and Waste Management Phoenix Open. Emerging as the medalist in the Frys.com Monday qualifier and making the cut in the prestigious Waste Management Phoenix Open, Cory's journey became a captivating narrative celebrated across the country.

Belinda Lin

Developing the Next Generation of Tournament Players: Belinda Lin, a PGA of Canada professional, is bilingual in Mandarin and English and began golf at 13 before building a strong record as a competitive player. She now combines her playing success with her coaching expertise to help junior golfers achieve their full potential in tournaments.
Proven Competitive Excellence: Belinda’s achievements include 1st place at the 2023 Illinois Women’s Open, 3rd at the 2023 PGA of Canada Women’s Championship, and 2nd at the 2022 Cactus Tour @ Mountain Brook. While competing for Simon Fraser University (2015–2019), she served as team captain and recorded multiple top-5 and top-10 finishes.
Certified to Coach Juniors: With US Kids Golf Level 1 and S2M BioSwing Dynamics Level 1 certifications, Belinda provides junior golfers with technical precision, mental resilience, and strategic course management to succeed in junior tournaments, college golf, and beyond.
